MY INTERIOR LIGHT DOES NOT COME ON UPON ENTERING CAR

What is your question?

My interior light does not go on upon entry. The light itself works manual when the interior switch is turned on. I looked inside the door to see if there was any kind of button that would engage the light on and off when entering and exiting.... nothing.. am I missing something?
