What is the head unit doing? If it behaves normally and has power, and you still get no sound out of any source (FM, AM, CD, tape, etc) than it sounds like the unit is bad or you have a bad amplifier. If it only is bad on a single source (ex. AM/FM) than it could be an antenna issue. If the unit doesn't have power, it's likely a fuse or wiring.
