What is your question?
I've a new battery, but every so often turning the key won't start the engine. Once or twice no click or anything, try again and it starts fine. Is it maybe time to replace the starter? Thank you.

There are several items in the starting circuit that can be failing and you should diagnose the problem first. Make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. (You shouldn't be able to move the terminals when wiggling them with your hands) Then, check for the proper voltage to the starter when the vehicle is not starting, if you don't have the correct voltage, diagnose the starting circuit.
