replace the power antenna but the cable is broken inside the mast.

You will have to disassemble the black plastic cover once you have removed the motor assemble, remove all the old cable, reassemble the cover. Plug the connection back in and offer the new mast into the motor as someone turns off the radio or ignition switch inside the car (it may take two or three attempts to get the mast to fully seat)..
