replaced head gasket on car and redoning vac hose, have it completed, yet the vac hose from plum and along the back to map sensor is causing rpm to increase by 1500 or more yet when its off runs at approx 1000 rpm. tried another map sensor same thing, Any help how to fix
What makes this problem better or worse?
not such what makes it worse as do not run it with it om RPM HIGH ISSUE

To understand correctly, you do have all the vacuum lines/hoses connected at this point? Are you saying your idle goes to 1500 with the vacuum hose to the map sensor connected and 1000 with it disconnected? Alex
