Why would my car overheat within 5 minutes of driving it

Hello, Have a cooling system leak inspection performed. When there is a leak, the engine cannot open the thermostat properly, so low flow could be your problem due to coolant being replaced by air in the cooling system. Having the leak diagnosed and repaired, along with bleeding the cooling system afterwords, will likely remedy the situation. If you wait for the repair, and let the engine overheat continuously, you may end up with a much larger repair bill/issue.
