Damn Check Engine Light Just Popped On!

What is your question?

Anybody have any ideas why the check engine light would pop on? I just bought the car and it sounds like there may be a smal exhaust leak, could that have anything to do with it?

The exhaust manifolds around that year did crack. Your car has On Board Diagnostics level 1 (pretty basic) look at link below you may be able to retrieve the trouble codes yourself by using a paperclip to bridge E1 T1 connector in the diagnostic connector under the hood. http://www.troublecodes.net/Toyota/

maybe. there are so many codes that a guess is not possible. you need a shop to do a diag and give you a bid on a repair. Roy
