Had a bad compressor, replaced with clutch, replaced condensor, expansion valve pulled vacuum no leaks, recharged system. Was blowing 42 degree air for about 1/2 hour then went back to blowing warm air. Compressor is working, lines that are supposed to be cold are cold and system is condensing like crazy. Air still warm inside the car. It almost acts like it does not know the a/c is on and blows as if it was not.
Sometimes it will blow slightly cooler air but not for long and not cool enough to cool the car down. Is there a relay that tells the vents to open up to the cold air? Is it possible that the vents are not opening where they are supposed to and will not allow the cold air inside the vents? Just guessing here am at my witts end. If I have it put on a analyzer will that pin point the problem?
