Whats the fuse box on the positive cable is for on 1991 Toyota Camry & part #?
What is your question?
I am needing to replace this part but do not know what it is exactly or the part number to be sure to get the right part. Also is it necessary to have the fuse part or can I just use a basic battery cable?
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 1991 Toyota Camry. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
There is a fuse box that contains 3 fuses directly connected to the positive terminal. I don't know what its called or a part number for it. Or if this fuse box is even needed
Well, why do you want to replace it? If you don't think it's needed, then pull the fuses out of it one at a time and see if anything don't work anymore. They are there for a reason. There are 2 different engines for that car,do you know which one is in your Camry?
I just know its a 4 cylinder. And I am replacing the cables and terminals because whoever had it prior to us obviously didn't know what they were doing and the connections to the battery are bad... however they also bridged the alternator fuse with a piece of metal instead of replacing the fuse. Which is why I'm looking to replace this part. If I can find out what it is exactly and what the part # is
ok,take a picture of it,go to local scrap yard(s) and remove one from a wrecked car. That's all I've got,sorry. I have a 98 Camry 2.2L,but mine don't have that.
