Hello, If the power steering was not on until you had driven the vehicle for some time, this is likely due to lack of battery power needed to run the powerful electric motor that turns the wheels for you. Power steering on your vehicle is electronically assisted, not hydraulically assisted like most vehicles have been for decades.
