What is the average cost to replace a transmission on a 2015 Toyota Avalon once it starts slipping and if you want to keep the car because it's in great shape including labor All other parts electronical seats are all in excellent condition motor mounts tie rods axle no rest Cadillac converter everything is in great condition do not want to spend for a new car or a car use that I don't know anything about I'm thinking it might be worth spending for a new transmission so I need to know the cost
What makes this problem better or worse?
I realize it's only going to get worse until it finally does not work at all

Online, I've seen anywhere from $1,600 to $5,000+ for a transmission assembly - from used to remanufactured. This is not including any labor, of course.
