Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your 2010 Toyota Avalon. Based on the information provided it sounds like there is a concern with how your back windows (or door locks) will not unlock when using the master unlock switch on the drivers side of your vehicle. If this is the rear windows themselves that will not operate from their controls this can indicate a fault with a component like the master window control switch on the driver side, child lock switch(es) being engaged, wiring issues, or even something like the window motors failing. If this concern is with the rear door locks not operating this may be due to a master control switch failure, child safety locks being engaged, a wiring issue, or even faults within the lock actuators/latches themselves. The best thing to do in this situation is to have the window/lock system tested to help identify the cause. This will usually involve using test equipment like a multimeter, a diagnostic scan tool, and other possible test equipment that in some cases can be best to have tested by a shop or a dealer so the concern can be pinpointed properly.
