Ac turns on when it's cold inside the car. But won't turn on when it's hot inside the car.

Hello, This may be a faulty cabin air or ambient air temperature sensor, or even a bad HVAC control module. The air conditioner is not supposed to run when it is cold out, but since it will work then, the air temperature sensor may be sending erroneous readings. Have this system tested with a professional scan tool do identify if the temperature sensors are reading correctly.
