My gear shifts from drive and neutral freely I have a Toyota Avalon 2001

It happens at all times and it moves from drive to neutral without pressing the button on the side of the gear shift there are no check engine lights on my dashboard and I took a look at the bushing underneath the shifting lever. Car does not shift out of park. When put into drive it does not slide downwards but when in 2 gear or lower gear it does slide into drive and neutral
