Could be a problem with the computer running the injectors too rich in the beginning. Sometimes this can happen from a bad or dirty Mass Airflow Sensor also. That's the main circuit to go through and diagnose to figure out - MAF sensor - to PCM/engine computer - to injectors. - Dale in Twin Falls, Idaho. Done Right Automotive Service
