OBD2 reader not communicating with PCM

What is your question?

Just changed throttle position sensor,alternator.Had to push the unlock button for gear shifter.Now my OBD2 reader has error communicating when plugged in and position is ON.What possible fixed.1998 Toyota Avalon XLS
