What is your question?
Driver side only floor mat & carpet is soak and wet on & off and forming a puddle. More obviously When the AC is on or when it's snows & rains. The door strips have replaced but no relief. The windscreen is original and no rust noted anywhere. Toyota dealership in Dover is unable to pinpoint the trouble. It seems as if the water is coming from underneath or a pipe is draining into driver side.

I have an 04 4runner and started getting floor mats wet after a heavy rain. I assumed a bad seal around windshield, but as I tried to troubleshoot spraying lots of water on the windshield, I got nothing, I moved the hose to spray more on the top toward the windshield, and finnally I saw the water comming in. I started tracing back where it was coming from. It was wicking down around inside the door frame and getting to the floor. After further investigation, I saw the well inside the sunroof totally full. Initially I assumed I had a bad seal, but then discovered the weep holes on either side of the wells inside the sunroof and they were totally blocked. I blew them out with an air hose and the problem vanished.
same here, I thought it was my windshield leaking after replacement, then again after 2nd replacement. pulled floor strips and side panel off, pealed back carpet, and under carpet, dried it all out, got upside down under the dash with flashlight while it poured rain, traced a trickle back that seemed to be coming in from divide between the foot area and the engine compartment - by streaming in on a wire that came through a tiny hole...anyway that's what it seems to be...guess I'm gonna try to seal around the wire with some silicone or something like that...wish me luck
Chiming in here. I just bought a used 2007 4Runner and found water under the mat in the passenger side floor. Not a windshield leak or AC drain. I found out what it was though. Under the car about where the back bolt of the seat would be, you will see a rubber plug about 3" wide. The plug there was dislodged and it goes right up into the carpet. You can actually feel the carpet through that hole. I popped the plug back into place. I'm guessing that water from when it rained was splashing up into there and collecting in the low spot under the mat/carpet. ps - not really sure what that plug is for though. Any ideas?
HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 2006 4-RUNNER. THE DRIVER SIDE FLOOR MAT IS COMPLETELY SOAKED. WATER SEEMS TO BE COMING OUT FROM ABOUT HALF WAY BETWEEN TOP OF DASH AND FLOOR, COULD BE LEAKING FROM OUTSIDE VENT UNDERNEATH WINSHEILD WIPERS AND COMING INSIDE. PLEASE POST IF YOU FIND THE SPECIFIC REASON AND i WILL DO THE SAME. GOOD LUCK!
Having the same problem with my 2006 4runner. Went to the Toyota Dealership and I was told that the water leak was coming from the windshield. I replaced the windshield and still having the same problem! We need to get together and contact the Toyota Corporation. This seems to be a manufacture fault with this vehicle!
I have recently purchased a 1997 Toyota 4Runner Limited V6. I have had the same problem with water in my driver side floorboard. Long story short, I crawled underneath my truck and looked at the driver side floorboard area. I noticed a hole where a rubber drain plug should be, carpet padding was visible. I think replacing the plug or finding something rubber that will plug the hole will do the trick! Good luck yall !
Im going crazy trying to fix this issue. Where exactly arr the holes you blew air in??
