VSC light will not go off on older 2003 Toyota 4runner.

Wheel Sensors replaced. Tried turning gas Cap and disconneting Battery to no avail. There is a crack in CV rear Axle which will have to be replaced. Can this be the problem Is there a way to turn the VSC and VSC traction light off to see if it will go back on since the wheel sensors have been replace?
