I engaged the 4wd, the lights on the dash started blinking it felt like it went in 4wd. but the lights continued blinking, i turned the 4wd off and the lights continued to blink and it still feels like its in 4wd. It runs a little rougher and uses more gas. I think it is stuck in 4wd. Whats that about

I just bought a used 2000 Limited. I had the same annoying problem! After having the vehicle two weeks in the shop, they found the problem....leaking vacuum hose. I would take it into the dealership or repair shop and have them look at that first. i hope that helps.
