CEL light

If you are not having any driveability issues along with the CEL and the CEL is not flashing you should be OK to drive for a few days (limited mileage if possible) before have the engine control system fault codes read and diagnosed.

Hi there. My CEL light has been off and on & flashing on my 2000 T4R for almost 2 weeks . The truck has not been well , misfire , poor accelleration . I changed the lead wires , gas cap , vacum box (black shoe box size,with hoses.) M.A.F sensor , Turns out all i had to do was take off the air intake , look under for the IAC valve 4 screws , clean with brake cleaner , and with care put it all back . No more CEL light , all is good . Lane , Vancouver BC Canada Good luck .
