ok I also found out I need to get my upstream o2 sensor as well ...my brother is a mechanic and he said I should get my transmission drained and filters replaced and see if I need to go do the route of the solenoids

that is totally up to you all Im saying is if your going to change the fluid and filter , dont flush it because I have seen it many times where someone is going on a long trip and wants there tranny serviced and the first thing I ask them is if they have ever had it done before and he answer is usually no and when they get it done the car a lot of times gets towed back with the transmission out of it but in your case it probably wouldnt hurt to just change the fluid and filter but I would definitely not flush the system !!!
