Interior [cabin] lights do not come on when doors are opened

Make sure the sliding switch is in the "door" position. Turn it momentarily to the "on" position to verify the bulb is OK. Does it come on when either front door is opened if not the door switch might be bad, it is located either in the door jamb area or part of the door lock assembly.
