How do you know the "battery is good"? A vast majority of the time, the battery is the root cause. It will need to be tested for reference voltage and the ability to hold a load. Anything below 12.5 volts reference voltage is suspect, and if on a load it falls below about 10.5, it needs to be replaced. This can prevent the vehicle from cranking at all. Also check all your cables and connections. Ensure your vehicle is in "park" or if a manual transmission, that your clutch is engaged and the clutch switch is working properly. This can prevent cranking as well. Certainly beyond that there is further testing that needs to be performed in the ignition / starting system. Good luck!
