does the head gasket on reno need the water ports expanded to cool engine

NO.. If you alter the head gasket .. You destroy the head gasket!! .. If in doubt, contact parts supplier and double check gasket set part number for THAT particular engine, always buy 'top quality' gaskets only! .. E.g.. McCord.. Fel-Pro.. Victor Reinz .. Strongly suggest having the 'cylinder head' tested by local auto machine shop.. Got to wonder why the previous repair has failed again (?)
