What amps should I need for my Kizashi alternator?

I used a volt meter when car is not running it registered 12.6 volts, after I started it the voltage went up to 13.8 volts. Turned the lights on it dropped to 12.3 and then went up to 13.75 volts. It looks like the alternator is working properly.
