More detail would be nice!!! Windshield fog up instantly when defrost is selected?? Bad odor in vehicle??? Passenger side wet???? This one is a dead giveaway...stick a finger in wet area...taste it... Sweet tasting? (For real).. Antifreeze taste like sugar water!!!!... It's tough being a mechanic!.. Yuck!!!

Okay so this is exactly what I'm expierence with my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara v6 Anywho I know it needs a new heater core, but is there other things I can do to prevent something like this happening again. I paid out the ass to have this fixed by a pro in our small town and six months later it's busted again. I want to do it myself, and right. Curious if I could get some pointers?
