Over the weekend the tire on my car took a turn for the worst. The Left hand side tire broke away from the axel. I've taken my car to my regular automachanic. The estimate for services are listed below. Can you advise if this sounds like the correct reparis for this problem. (also: The parts are not under warranty, so this is all out of pocket expenses)
Left side Ball joint, Control Arm Assemble, and Axel Shaft.
Using Used parts: $801.50 (including tax)
Using Manfact part: $1,392.42 (Including tax)
Thanks in advance. Really want to make sure these estimate are correct. Seems alot for this service. I've had this done on a prior vehicle and the cost wasn't nearly as high, but then again that was an American auto.
