Is it ok to mix tire tread designs or tire brands?

Yes it is okay, it would always be a good thing to have the same tread pattern on all 4 but as long as all tires are the same size it would not cause a problem, no different than running straight tires and snow tires on a car. Just make SURE they are the same size
