What is your question?
The liftgate won't open. The vehicle is unlocked, I've locked and relocked it several times. When I push the button on the liftgate it doesn't respond.
How long has your 2013 Subaru Outback had this problem?
a couple days

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. For your Outback, the fuse for the power liftgate is typically located in the interior fuse box. You can find this fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. Look for the fuse labeled "Rear Gate" or "Power Liftgate" in the fuse diagram inside the fuse box cover. If the fuse looks blown or damaged, replace it with the same amperage rating and see if that restores the liftgate function. If the fuse is good, the issue could be related to the liftgate motor, wiring, or a loss of initialization. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered. Give us a call at 877-913-1554, and we will happily help you out!
