What is your question?
The Subaru dealer mechanic said both headgaskets leaking, inner axle boot cracked, and timing belt must be replaced, cost of $2000. If I fix these, how much longer before I face other major problems/major costs? Should I keep repairing, or bail out now?

That's still low miles for an '07 Subaru. I would do it. I have 115,000 on my '04 and just paid $2445 for both head gaskets, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, all belts, pulleys, seals, water pump etc. I think it'll now easily get to 200,000 and I hope many more. Worth it to me to not put out big bucks for a new one. I have had mine since 5,000. Also, I have a great non-dealer mechanic who uses all Subi parts.
thanks for asking: 104,000 miles. I've owned it since 8,000 miles and no major problems prior to this.
