On 1999 and later models with the 2.5L engine Subaru call for inspect ion of the timing belt every 30,000 miles or 30 months, and replacement at 105,000 miles or 105 month intervals.

Had mine replaced at 60K miles. Generally, it's between 60K and 90K, depends on how long you plan to keep the car. Meaning, if you plan to sell before 90K, don't replace it. If you plan to replace before 120K, then replace it at 60K.
