What is your question?
I have a six year 100,000 mile warranty on my Subaru Outback purchased in June of 2005 I went to have it inspected today and it failed because of the brakes were worn. and because of a oil leak in the head gasket. Those things are supposed to be covered by the warranty but they quoted me over 2,500 to fix those things. What can I do now?

Read your warranty and see what it covers. What was it inspected for. Do you have a mechanical inspection in your state. I've never heard of a oil leak taking a vehicle out of operation.
Had same issue, several posts elsewhere indicate that if you pressure Subaru of America, they will cover it. As the other poster mentioned, check your policy, this should be covered - unless you bought a policy that does not provide that coverage. In my case, I had a 60K/8 yr extended warranty and I think that covered it - I had no out of pocket except the deductible.
