Check engine light came on and cruise control light is flashing?

Hello, The error may be in one of a few places. If you have paddle shifters mounted on or adjacent to the steering wheel, on of these chould have a short which is causing it to activate sport mode. Also, if they are steering wheel mounted, the clockspring (powers steering wheel mounted electronics) could be failing as well. Also, the shifter/gear selector may have a bad or dirty connection, bad contacts, or possibly a bad section of wire causing the same issue. Lastly, the transmission control module could be causing this issue, and it might even be to a leak into the main transmission wiring harness connector.
