car front end grabs when turning at slow speed like a truck in four wheel drive

after the car is drove around 20 miles when turning at slow speed feels like a grab in the front right. had the axle replaced and it didn't help the problem. Mechanic put it on the rack and everything feels tight in the front end. the problem doesn't happen when car is first driven or at high speeds. Thanks for any help
