Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Impreza. When your alternator locked up and your drive belt broke, it could have damaged other components around the front of the engine. Ensure that all components along the belt drive spin freely and don't have excessive play. Take a look at the sensors in the area to make sure they aren't damaged. Additionally, double-check all connections, especially around the alternator and battery, and make sure the belt is routed correctly. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered. Give us a call at 877-913-1554, and we will happily help you out!
