Can a rear main seal leak cause the cylinders (1 and 4) to misfire??
What is your question?
My mechanic is saying that the oil leaking on to the O2 sensor is causing the an issue with the wires and the misfire because the gas is not burning properly through the exhaust

I just had the O2 sensor replaced a week ago and he said that they looked ok. Not sure if he tested the ohms
**I have to make a correction to my other comment. He said that it wasn't the O2 sensor causing the Misfire codes, but a different sensor.
Can a rear main seal leak affect any sensors related to misfire codes on the engine? From what I've seen, it appears that the rear main seal is nowhere near any of the sensors.
