yes, after the removing the spindle, the hub has to be pressed out and then press out the bearing. i always reccomend replacing the hub in this repair.

Not necessary to remove the hub. Hub Shark can be used for bearing replacement while the spindle is still on the car. Harbor Freight sells cheaper version of that tool that can be used by average mechanically inclined DIYer. The advantage of doing the replacement this way is the alignment stays untouched.
