What's the difference between the Subaru Outback and Forester?

I've started thinking about getting another car. I'm pretty happy with my current one, but it's starting to get up there in miles. If I were to get another car, it would probably be a Subaru because they can handle themselves in the snow and it basically snows half the year here in Montana.
