What is your question?
The A/C was working fine for most of the 25 degree day, then just shut down. I checked the fuse and found it had blown. I replaced the fuse, but it blew 5 seconds after I turned on the A/C. It is the factory fitted A/C, and has not been touched. Any suggestions as I can find no evidence of a short.

Hello, must be a wiring issue or a component issue in the related circuit. I am not sure which fuse it is, and what it goes to - but when you reference the components and wiring on the affected circuits, you simply have to check the wiring and component related to find what is at fault.
