What is your question?
I own a 2013 Subaru Forester, manual 5-speed. It needs a new catalytic converter and transmission. It will most likely need brakes again very soon. I have about 130,000 miles on the car. Last summer Subaru of America replaced the motor (at their cost) and I replaced the clutch about 1.5 years ago. Around 2 years ago I replaced the 'turbine generator valves'. Since the car needs some big repairs and has high mileage, I don't know if it is worth repairing - if it weren't for the new motor last summer, I wouldn't even consider the repair. However, is it worth keeping the car because of the new motor or should I spend the money on a used car with low mileage. Thanks for any advice.
How long has your 2013 Subaru Forester had this problem?
A few months but I don't drive much now due to working-from-home

Hello, it sounds like this vehicle has had an extraordinary amount of repairs done to it at great overall expense. It's hard to know when it's good to stop -- why do you need a new manual transmission would be my first question? Realize that any used vehicle you choose to purchase can have similar issues, and you don't know the history. It's food for thought. But I'd also probably get a second opinion about what your vehicle currently needs, because it seems like a ton of things to deal with and spend money on at this time.
