What is your question?
My 2010 Forester starts and runs fine until I give it gas then it bogs down and acts like it's going to stall. It has a new fuel pump and filter.

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Great question, and thanks for including the detail about the fuel pump and filter, that's really helpful! Since those have already been replaced, we can likely rule out basic fuel delivery as the culprit. On your 2010 Subaru Forester, that kind of bogging and near-stalling under acceleration can point to a few different things. A dirty or failing mass airflow sensor (MAF) is a pretty common cause of this type of symptom, as it directly affects how the engine manages the air/fuel mixture under load. A faulty throttle position sensor (TPS) is another possibility, as it tells the engine how much fuel to deliver when you press the accelerator. Clogged or failing fuel injectors could also be worth looking into, even with a new pump and filter in place. It's also worth checking for any stored trouble codes, even if the check engine light isn't on, as there may be pending codes that could point directly to the problem. A worn ignition component like spark plugs or ignition coils can also cause this type of hesitation and bogging under acceleration, so those would be worth inspecting as well. Since the issue is affecting drivability and could leave you in a tough spot if it gets worse, we'd recommend having a qualified shop take a look and run a proper diagnosis. There are several potential causes here and the right diagnostic tools will save a lot of guesswork.
