What is your question?
Just got code after doing spark plugs, wires, and valve cover gasket. Sparks are seated and gapped properly, wires are making good contact. Pcv hose has no holes to gasket. I noticed the air box I removed to get access to the valve cover gasket was not clipped into place properly. Could this trip the 0457 code? Or is it more likely to be the fuel injectors or purge valve. TIA

Hello, these codes are not related to air intake functionality. These are related to emissions controls - P0457 related specifically to a leak detected in the evaporative emissions system - which is the function of the vehicle that prevents the escape of fuel vapors into the atmosphere. P0451 is also indicating a leak in this system. Often times, smoke vapor must be introduced into the "closed" system to see where it leaks out from. It will show smoke vapors in the area where there is a system breach, leading towards determining the root cause of failure. This requires specialized equipment as well as the ability to activate the system operation. You'll want to consult a local technician near you who has skills and equipment to make this happen. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
