My 2004 Forester (155,000 miles) is reported as having oil leaks at both heads. I have heard that Subaru is covering some of these head gasket oil leaks. Is that true for this for 2004 Forester? What is the shop flat rate or labor time for replacement if I have to pay for this?
Its always worth a try to see if the dealer will help with the costs. Book time for the gaskets is 12 hrs but doing all the engine seals, water pump, timing belt, ect would add a couple of hrs to that total. Good luck! Greg
