The air bag indicator light stays lit when I am driving during warmer seasons(spring & summer) but is normal during colder seasons. Anyone know what the problem is?

I have not seen a common problem there are 26 possible codes stored in a Safety Restraint Subaru system but a scan tool is required to retrieve the codes. There is one recall perhaps your car is covered, and a bulletin for pinched wires at the seat.
I had the same problem. There is a connection under the driver's seat that needs to be tightened by pushing the two pieces together until nice and tight. Good luck.
That recall was for 2006 models. This is a 2003.
