What is your question?
Its 98 subaru forester leak is coming from lower radiator hose right where it is connected to the radiator. I think it's transmission fluid but not sure leak appears yo be getting worse it. After driving any distance there will be at least 3 drops on the ground and after longer drives there will be more than that.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse the warmer the engine is
How long has your 1998 Subaru Forester had this problem?
Existed when I bought it used last year

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I’m sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Forester. The large lower radiator hose carries coolant from the radiator back to the engine to help regulate temperature. There are also smaller diameter hoses that carry transmission fluid to and from the transmission. If the fluid has a reddish tint and an oily feel, it is likely transmission fluid. Since the leak is getting worse, I'd recommend having the leak diagnosed to prevent further damage.
