how do I re-set the computer after work was done?

we replaced the fan belt tenstioner pully but the battery light, rear diff.and brake lights stay on , we are being told we need to re-set the comp.?

did you put the belt back on?if so, is it still on? if the belt is still on,unhook the battery for 15 minutes,then hook it back up.CAREFUL> no arcing/sparks!unhook neg first,then pos.when hooking back up,pos first,neg last.in that order!!!
