can I remove my front bumper without deploying airbags?

What is your question?

I want to replace the OEM horns on my 2013 xD with a PIAA (louder) set. YouTube videos show how to easily remove the entire front bumper. This would allow a quick and easy horn replacement job. BUT .....will it affect the airbags in any way to remove the front bumper. If I don't, it looks like I can remove a plastic piece under the car and reach up to remove and replace the horns; just a little tight for arms and hands. Any thoughts or suggestions?
