When brakes should be serviced

Brakes should be checked every oil change either at 3,000 or 5,000 miles. This way you ensure you're not going to damage the rotors and also not run out of brake pad. It's a safe bet to change your brake pads when they are at 3-4 mm or 3 to 4 credit card thickness'. Hope this helps.
