What is your question?
I have the dreaded 3 light problem with my 2009 Scion xB. My engine light, traction light, and VSC light came on. It idles rough below 1000 RPMs and I'm not sure what the idle RPM even needs to be. It shifts rough, and at 55 mph its steady at about 5000~ RPMs. My Fiance checked the resistance on the two transmission speed sensors and they both are in spec. 660 ohms or so. Not sure what else could be causing the problem??? ANY help is greatly appreciated. I have searched all over (from google) and have not found any other suggestions. Hope this describes the problem with enough detail. We do not have much money and we are trying to stay away from the dealership if possible.

I have a 2006 Scion XB, I am the original owner. These lights started coming on around the 4th year. When you get an oil change they can reset these lights under the hood. I have never had any service issues with my car, or had to repair any thing mechanical due to these lights. I change my oil around 3000 to 3500 miles faithfully! These lights come on and go off depending on the gas gauge. I reset the lights myself. Look in your owners manual under dash lights and it will instruct you how to reset. Make sure your car is off, press the milege button and hold then turn your key to the right just before the engine turns on, then start listening for the four clicks. you have to do this several times but it resets these buttons. I still have my car (9 years). The only repairs are oil changes, new tires, brakes and an alternator which is phenomenal for a car with 189,229 miles.
