I'm planning on taking a road trip from the Bay Area to Phoenix AZ in December which would be exactly 700 miles from my place. My cars current mileage is going to hit 147,000 miles by that time and it works just fine with the oil changes and other repairs always up to date. The only issue is with a few of the motor mounts and the engine which tend to be pretty noisy, I want to know if my car would be alright on a round trip from the Bay Area to Phoenix which in total would be a 1400 mile trip,

I think it`d be better if you have those motor mounts replaced if they are been noisy already, you wouldn`t want to take a chance on the road and have to tow the car to an auto repair and get a motel while is getting done.
